I absolutely love babies! It was super special for me to shoot Ava, because I have known her family since before Luke, her big brother was born. They are all adorable children with the most beautiful blue eyes. I am excited to watch little Ava grow.
This was my first ever newborn photo-shoot, and I really didn't know what I was doing! But Mrs. Alcott was very patient with me and I feel like I learned a lot. We dealt with everything that is expected with newborn photo-shoots. A hungry, tired baby who wants mom. :) But she still looks precious.
I am not entirely happy with how these turned out. I feel like I can do better and I hope I get a chance to try and get some more.
Shannon - You did a GREAT JOB!! Thanks for bearing with all of us on a hot (and hungry!) afternoon!! You can take more pictures of her anytime you'd like. :) You are so talented and I know that you'll have a camera in hand for many, many years! And we'll be able to say, "Hey, we knew her when..."
